Preschool
To enroll in the Pre-K class, children must turn 3 years old by September 1st of the current school year and must be fully potty trained.

Children will be assessed at the end of the semester on a variety of different categories: social and emotional skills, self-reliant skills, listening skills, communication skills, fine motor skills, and gross motor skills. Our hope for each child is for them to consistently demonstrate the following but not limited to:

Plays and shares willingly
-
Attempts to solve social problems independently
-
Uses bathroom independently
-
Puts on own jacket/coat
-
Attentive during circle/story time
-
Follows two-step directions
-
Uses well developed sentences
-
Holds writing utensil correctly

Jumps with two feet
They will also learn Reading, Math, and Cognitive skills. Reading:They will learn how to identify letters, differentiate between sounds that are the same and different, Distinguishes whether two words rhyme or not
Math: can identify numbers up to 10, recognizes shapes, recognizes colors, and can sort like objects into two or more groups
Cognitive Skills: can state their first and last name, can state their parents names, recites days of the week and months
Junior Kindergarten
To enroll in the Junior Kindergarten class, children must turn 4 years old by January 1st of the current school year and must be fully potty trained.

Children will be assessed at the end of the semester on a variety of different categories: social and emotional skills, self-reliant skills, listening skills, communication skills, fine motor skills, and gross motor skills. Our hope for each child is for them to consistently demonstrate the following but not limited to:

Listens while others are speaking

Follows three-step directions

Uses well developed sentences, noun-pronoun-verb usage

Traces a given line

Balances on one foot
They will also learn Reading, Math, and Cognitive skills. Reading:They will learn how to recognize their name in print, to knows the sounds some letters make, can rhyme two words.
Math: can identify numbers up to 20, recognizes shapes, recognizes colors, can sort like objects into three or more groups, Identifies whether the number of objects in one group is greater than, less than, or equal to objects in another group.
Cognitive Skills: can state their first and last name, can state their birthday, recites days of the week and months.
